Maybe this was always the plan, if ever there was one. I’m on a walkabout, borne out of the ashes of an extended midlife crisis. A trope neatly wrapped in a cliché. The maelstrom of fear, the shackles of unrequited accomplishment, have all but disappeared. To be anything other than who you are is the only way to fly. To discover this now, at my ripe age is comic, but fitting.

Now, with clarity of purpose, in these most dire of times, I come to you, dear reader, to partake in my musings, insights, and observations. My loving wife, quite understandably, is over it.

Dusty Trophy is a wandering and a wondering - where curiosity connects to meaning. Not knowing, being open and curious is the only price of admission. From AI to literature, film, parenting, science and personal stories, there’s something in it for the whole family. It’s a bumpy ride so strap in.
